(What to Bring & What Not To Bring To Camp)

 

Don’t Forget To Bring:

• Appropriate sports clothes - to be worn for activities. NO TANK TOPS, NO SPAGHETTI STRAP SHIRTS, NO SHORT BELLY SHIRTS. ABSOLUTELY ALL SHORTS MUST BE A "CD'S LENGTH ABOVE THE KNEE".

• Modest swim wear, NO 2-PIECE SWIMSUITS!!!  (2 piece tankini's are fine, just no bikini's)

• SR HIGH VARSITY & JOURNEY STUDENTS - NICE JEANS OR KHAKIS FOR MINISTRY TOOLS

• A “cover-up” & footwear is required for back & forth to the pool. SEE OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR PROPER COVER UP GUIDELINES.

• For Awards night, neat trousers and skirts

• At least two pairs of sport shoes - clean pair to be used only for inside gym & older pair for outside activities

• (NO sandals for activity times! Absolutely NO bare feet!)

• Jacket for chilly nights

• Sleeping bag or bedding & pillow

• Toiletries - soap, towels, drinking cup, toothbrush/paste, etc.

• Bible, pencil or pen & notepad for chapel

• Spending money - canteen, crafts, paint ball, etc. Canteen averages about $3.00 per day. Craft materials range from $1 to $5. Paint Ball: Trek $5 + 6 cents per ball – Journey $15 + 6 cents per ball. Mini Golf: $3. Sorry Mom & Dad, these are camp fees which we have no control over!

• Tennis racket/balls, Fishing gear, Musical instrument & music (all optional)

• Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, camera & film

• Journey youth should bring money to eat out ON WEDNESDAY FOR MINISTRY TOOLS. ($10 - $15)

 

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR OR BRING THE FOLLOWING:

• Tight clothing:  shirts, sweaters, dresses, pants, shorts or exercise clothing.

• NO leggings, slider shorts or spandex worn under shorts. 

• Girls, NO spaghetti straps, tank tops, bare mid-drifts or short shorts. 

• Girls, NO short skirts or low cut tops.

• Boys, NO tank tops, “slider” shorts or short shorts.

• Boys, all pants will be pulled up at all times.
