Over the past 11 years Tina and I have been involved in watching the miracle of AWANA work in the lives of children and teens across the Tennessee Valley region. Our journey with AWANA began when our child was in Sparks. We saw him soak up God's Word like a sponge and he began inviting friends to church and AWANA. We have started clubs in three churches; have been Ministry Team members, Trainers, Conference Speakers, Camp Staff, and Regional Event workers. We have received special training in AWANA Clubs International in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to this, I am an AWANA Pastor completely supporting the AWANA ministry in my own church. Tina has been involved in all levels of the AWANA ministry with the exception of Cubbies. We have seen what AWANA did for our church, the families that were influenced through its ministry, and how AWANA and the leaders worked in our own son's life. We are so excited to see how God will use us as Dixieland Leadership Camp Directors.
